![]() ![]() (And the monthly login bonus and clan treasury are now on the list of ones that do so.) Still a nerf to the doubloon and premium day rate, but other than that this is really just a nerf to the anniversary event (which they are now explicit about being the intent). (Although on the subject of the anniversary event specifically, the fact that by this year's event we'll have nearly three times as many TXs as we did when the event was first held is probably worth keeping in mind when comparing rewards from that event.)Įdit: They've taken the worthless gray boosters out, so this is less of a nerf to the sources that are actually giving them twice as often. While for supers obtained from daily containers, the increased frequency partially mitigates the nerf, it's still a nerf for those, due to the removal of some of the best potential drop s and addition of worthless gray boosters.įor stuff like the monthly login bonus, old collections, and the anniversary event which presumably won't have the number of containers doubled it's a major nerf. No, WG stopped giving out Super Containers some time ago, now I just call them Monthly Containers. But they are never going to be Super Containers again, especially now that you can get them in the armory, or by just logging on. Perhaps in the big picture the statistics are the same, considering the frequency of getting one, and free stuff is free stuff so this isn't a complaint. Now its become just "meh" and there is very little "super" about them. What it would do is make me look forward to that lucky day when you heard that different sound as the container arrive and you could say "whoop" before even opening it. It didn't make me jealous, or angry, or make me complain. I guess its just something about being a human, and that inner child thing, but i think I'd rather go back to that time when I'd never seem to get one even while other lucky posters would show screenshots of what they received. I can recall when they always meant a premium ship or something just as awesome. I admit I have nothing factual to back up that nerf sentiment other than the memory of how excited I used to feel when getting a super container "back in the day". It "feels" to me like the nerf happened some time ago, long before any odds were made public, so this current change is pretty much a wash. ![]()
