![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The first print run for this book was a staggering 8 million copies. ![]() The seventh and last volume in the seminal Harry Potter series which took the book world by storm igniting Potter-mania amongst kids (and at that stage adults as well). Condition: a near fine copy with just a little of shelf wear as shown. Please note, that signed copies not bearing the hologram sticker are to 99 percent forgeries and in any case worthless for collectors unless some substantial provenance can be presented. There was only one signing event for this title in the UK: the midnight signing at the Natural History Museum in London on 20 July 2007, for which only 1,700 lucky ticket winners were admitted. Aware of this problem, the publisher issued the hologram sticker authenticating Rowling s signature. By the time of publication signed Harry Potter books have become so valuable that a plethora of forgeries have permeated the market. Signed and inscribed by Rowling on the title page: to Lindsey, certified with the official hologram as called for (bearing the 21/07/07 date). Like new in like new dj, - untouched, unread and unopened since Rowling signed it.14 years ago. This copy from Rowling's only Canadian appearance includes all the ephemera, a 16 x 24 inch full colour poster, the original Winter Garden's ticket, 2 bookmarks and a magic do-not-open door knob hanger ( keep out ). This is one of only 950 copies that she signed for chosen attendee's & with the publisher's security hologram on the upper title page & signature at the bottom. First Edition, Canadian issue which consisted of the First British edition, ( Bloomsbury ) with the Canadian issue of the dj - ( Raincoast ) This edition came about at her only Toronto reading & signing at the Winter Garden Theatre on October 23rd 2007. ![]()
